Overall Satisfaction with Vyond (formerly GoAnimate)

The Marketing department uses Vyond to assist with other department video needs. It's a quick and easier way to make videos with little to no video production experience. We don't have the funds or resources to hire a video production team or agency. Once you get the hang of it, the videos are solid quality.

  • Takes time to get the swing of it.
  • You need to rely on your team's creativity.
  • If you don't have microphone equipment, the sound over the video isn't great.
  • Makes our social media pages more engaging.
  • We use these videos for training within the company.
  • Internal communications are more intresting.
We use Adobe premier for interview videos and Vyond for more creative/fun videos.
Exporting long videos takes time to download, which slows down uploading time to other platforms.
This program is great when you have no video experience! There's only a little of a learning curve to the program. In general, the user interface is great and easier than using a program like Adobe premier. It's a great resource to use as a marketer.
I am unaware of any integrations this program has, we are not using any.
It is well suited for a marketing team with little to no video experience. It is not well suited for making very high-quality videos that require footage of people (people in your company). It's more for animated videos opposed to 'people' videos. The videos are solid quality but are not meant for interviews.
