Use AuthPoint to safely secure VPN
Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
We have used WatchGuard AuthPoint for the last few years. This is very useful for adding additional security to our remote users when authenticating to our corporate VPN. Adding the secondary authentication gives us piece of mind that our network is secure.
- Nice APP
- Robust configuration
- Integrates with Watchgaurd firewalls nicely, but not a requirement
- Better configuration documentation.
- Sometimes the if the app is not running, the user doesn't know that the push notification was sent/arrived.
- Activation email is vague. Would prefer the email/subject to be more descriptive
- We have more ease to remove VPN access for employees
- We do field more support calls in the beginning for users not familiar on how MFA works.
Some users have that have pushed back about the service because they don't want the app installed on their personal cell phone.
