Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
Multifactor Authentication for remote users
- Fast, easy to use.
- Watchguard is highly respected and credible with cyber insurers
- Flexible configurations
- Secure
- Installation was a difficult because we have another Watchguard appliance (Firebox) and it conflicted with account credentials.
- Help and support was lacking. We were assigned someone in Europe that was not online when we were. Also reaching WatchGuard was difficult. Companies should not insulate themselves from customers.
- A bit expensive.
- Avoids costly breaches
- Reduces cyber insurance premiums
- Facilitates smooth remote operations
Yes, but they did not offer support and that bothered us.
I knew about the other products and will investigate because we had a breach which fortunately did not impact us greatly but made us realize we had to implement greater security measures
We currently have FireBox and AuthPoint and are very happy with how they operate. They certainly add value to our operation. Again, installation could be improved as it seems the installation is geared to professional IT people. Even they had problems.
Microsoft has a logic that defies logic at times. Authenticator is obtuse in operation. AuthPoint is so simple to operate, it runs much better.
