Overall Satisfaction with Watchguard Endpoint Security

We use WatchGuard Endpoint Protection (EPP) as a basic level of protection for all endpoints. We feel Endpoint Protection gives us better protection than traditional antivirus and it integrates with other WatchGuard products including Firewalls and MDR. Endpoint Detection provides alerts that are added to an internal security board and we are able to manage these as part of our standard support process.

We are a WatchGuard partner and have been and still are supported by WatchGuard directly. We have found their team to be very helpful and they have kept us updated with new developments and features in the EPP / WatchGuard security product offering. We have no hesitation in recommending WatchGuard in the SMB space that the majority of our clients operate and believe they have a solid product with good value for money.
Having a unified security platform with Firewalls, EPP, EPDR and MDR gives a better indication of the general threats and makes it a lot easier to see what is occurring across the network environment and also react to security events. Having just one place to view security events rather than logging into multiple platforms makes it easier for us to appraise an event and respond. As an MSP we need to be reactive and efficient in our actions.
WatchGuard is a great product with a high level of support and as our main product we have invested time to train our service and sales staff to better support and utilise their products. Cloud products are easy to deploy and the upgrade path from EPP to EPDR is seamless if clients decide to improve their security posture.
We upgraded from Webroot to WatchGuard EPP as we felt it offered greater protection for end points. The basic reports are emailed to us each month that we run through with our clients each month to review the current environment and any security patterns we can see through the reports.

WatchGuard Endpoint Security is well suited in a hybrid work environment where users are not all in the office all of the time. Within the office they are protected by the corporate firewall but when out of the office or working from home EPP helps to protect them better than the traditional security a user has in their home. There are cheaper products which offer lesser protection in the market but we feel that EPP is the new standard.
