Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

Our contracted IT firm recommended WatchGuard for our entire organization. It has been very helpful in keeping our network secure at a reasonable price point. The best way to know a security program is working is to not have to think about it when it works quietly in the background keeping your company protected.

Pros

  • Anti-virus protection

  • Spam filtration

Cons

  • Occasional hiccups with VPN connections forcing restart.
  • False positive spam filtering.
  • URL blocking of legitimate sites can be frustrating.
  • Good product for the price.
  • Our network has remained secure.
  • Seems to have high ROI.
Yes. We work with Advance Network Systems. They have been a great technology partner for us recommending projects that are both useful and cost-effective.
From the user perspective, it's good but I can't speak to the back end/ implementation part.
Yes, because it allows organizations of any size to implement.
Being the end-user and not, a tech expert, I'm not sure I can answer this question. It does work well for our organization on the front end and has served our needs well.
