Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
We are using a Watchguard firewall in a complex small office setup to provide network security and protect sensitive data.
- Combines easy setup and management with strong small office security
- Strong wireless security when paired with Watchguard wireless access points
- Excellent management reporting
- Options for sending logs to external servers could be improved
- Easier setup of critical notifications from key functions such as intrusion protection
- Improved customer confidence in data security
- Reduced time spent on firewall administration
- Much better management of wireless access points.
Purchased products on Amazon from the WatchGuard Store. Otherwise I did not use a reseller.
The licensing is very standard for the industry and does not really provide any special benefit.
Specifically in the small office space I have used SonicWall in the past and found Watchguard to be a better product which is easier to setup and manage and is available at a better price.
