Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

We use the WatchGuard firewall as one of our organization's key firewalls for both external protection and inter-Vlan routeing. The features, performance, and reliability are all top-notch in our opinion. We've been utilising a WatchGuard for more than 8 years and rely on the added protection provided by TDR, packet scanning, and automated upgrades to keep our company secure.

  • TDR - Extra level of protection.
  • Unable to modify base port rules.
  • WatchGuard VPN client has issues connecting.
  • Improved risk mitigation.
  • Allows segregation of VLANs to ensure protection.
We worked with IT360 from Auckland NZ to size, purchase, and migrate from our old WatchGuard on to the new pair running in our 2 data centers configured as a HA pairing. The migration was smooth and was completed without any issues.
We compared WatchGuard against Fortinet and it was better on price and feature set including the extra protection provided by TDR.

Based on their reputation in the industry, the quality of their products, and the level of support they provide to their customers, I would rate WatchGuard Network Security 8 out of 10 in terms of recommending their products to colleagues.While there may be other comparable options available, WatchGuard's track record of delivering quality security solutions and responsive customer support make them a solid choice for businesses looking to enhance their network security. Overall, I would definitely recommend WatchGuard Network Security as a viable option for businesses seeking reliable and effective network security solutions.
