A solution you can trust

We have Watchguard Network Security Firebox appliance for 8 years. It's easy to configure and easy to use. We also use it to connect remote users through VPN and to connect Onprem network to Azure through Azure Site to Site VPN. We have external vulnerability scan with our partner and even if we've whitelisted their IP adressess, the firewall still able to block their scan! They told us we have a very powerful firewall. We did not work with a Watchguard partner. We chose Watchguard Network Security based on reviews and comments from other customers. We follow many online tutorials to configure device. We also implement Watchguard Dimension for reporting and management. Easy to configure firewall rules, VPN clients, VPN Site to Site, etc.

We have yet to notice value of using Unified Security Platform. We will evaluate this opportunity in the next months. It could probably replace our onprem solution and increase efficiency of our operations.

We tried Watchguard Cloud last year and had some problems to migrate our rules from onprem device. The migration path was not optimal and we had to recreate manually each rule. We also had difficulty to reproduce VPN configurations and we decided to go back and wait for a more mature design. Maybe we will give another chance this year and see if everything is better than the last time.
