Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
Watchguard has been great for our organization's network infrastructure. We utilize their products for firewall, AP, and even endpoint antivirus. The equipment has been reliable, and the software is intuitive and fully featured.
Our network infrastructure group likes it, and as a member of support, it's easy to use.
End users have a positive experience with the VPN product, and the antivirus product is fairly reliable.

Pros
- Feature Updates
- Integration is Easy
- Good Web UI
Cons
- Better EPDR stability
- Easier customization for end-user experience
- More robust SAML integration
- Haven't had to replace the physical products aside from capability upgrades. Reliable and doesn't fail
- Easy and tight integration has minimized break/fix work. Feature implementation is frequent
- Experience for end-user changes minimally and allows for users to focus on work and not IT systems.
I cannot speak to that, but not to my knowledge. Our team seems happy overall with the WatchGuard experience and has never expressed a desire to move away. In addition, the stand-up seemed to happen pretty quickly, during COVID at that!
Overall, seems like it's been a great experience for our network team as they switched to WatchGuard APs and endpoint protection.

It's great to have a single Web UI to interact with to handle any and all Watchguard products. I have had minimal interaction due to my role, but as needed I've been impressed by the reporting tools and real-time feedback. The web console has also been impressive for endpoint protection repair, minimizing interaction on behalf of end-users and support members alike.
It's made integration and security a cinch. Less time having to make sure systems are talking and reporting properly, and more time for integration and functionality tweaks. The reliability of the physical products has been phenomenal and they make it easy to stand up new equipment. We started with Firewall/VPN, and have added more integration over the last few years. I think that speaks for itself!
I'm not sure what else is out there, but our team is pretty good at researching and looking at the big picture. I've never had complaints about the experience with various Watchguard products, and am impressed by the new features they announce and integrate with relative frequency. Azure/AD Integration has been great
