Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Several of our largest clients are WebEx users; because of this we use it several times a week to meet and collaborate with their users on projects. At our company, Video Conferencing / Collaboration is an integral part of how we conduct business. WebEx Meetings allows us to leverage the use of high-quality appliances for our meetings to let us always present the best possible audio, video, and content sharing.

Pros and Cons

Easy to follow instructions for joining meetings
WebEx offers the ability to use high-quality Video appliances for connection
Reliability of content sharing / collaboration during meetings
Available touch interfaces

In many cases, users who join from Non-WebEx hardware (SIP/H.323) are unable to see either some of the participants video.
For external/guest users of WebEx, the only viable option for meetings is to use the software client.

Return on Investment

WebEx allows us to meet/collaborate with our key clients using a common professional platform.
WebEx offers a solid, reliable platform with a long history to an industry that has been racing to the bottom, and we appreciate that greatly!

Usability

Works every time as advertised, users are able to join meetings, use controls etc. External guests are able to follow the instructions. Overall, it's a good experience for our teams which makes WebEx a "usable" solution for our users.

Likelihood to Recommend

WebEx Meetings is very well suited for in-room integration scenarios where the hardware is integrated with other equipment like audio (speakers/microphones) as well as the use of either the available Cisco Touch panel or say a Crestron Touch Screen. It is very easy to start or join meetings in these scenarios.
