Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this tool to help organize all our meetings and to share documents across different teams and departments, not just within the company, but outside the company as well.

Pros and Cons

I really like the collaborative aspect of it. You can draw diagrams, interact with PowerPoints, excel documents, and all that stuff, interactively with a bunch of people. I think that's really great. You can also do that with people outside your company.

The UX and the UI for the chat aspect, especially when you're trying to create a new group for people to talk in, could be improved.

Return on Investment

It's been really easy to organize a meeting, go into a meeting room, and connect to any hardware that we have to share stuff. I think it's improved productivity quite a bit.

We have a long-term existing relationship with Cisco, which is why we use Cisco as much as we can. The only competitor in this space would be Microsoft Teams with a comparable feature set, but we decided to go with Cisco. It's just because we use the whole ecosystem that you have.

For the positives, it's anything that involves sharing a document or some presentation with other people inside and outside the company. As I mentioned, with improvements, it's just the chat aspect could be improved. In terms of the UX and UI, you can do everything, but to get to that point takes a little bit longer than it should.
