Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Weebly is used for a non-profit to sell t-shirts to consumers. We didn't have a lot of experience using online e-commerce platforms, so Weebly made it really easy to be able to make selling items possible, specifically for our needs. It wasn't used by everyone in our organization, but definitely by all need-to-access parties.

Pros and Cons

Ability to create a website/online store cohesively
Usability and functionality for users who have low experience with websites/online stores
It is really easy to get everything set up quickly.

It was difficult to get the store to look like we knew what we were doing. So maybe more help with templates?

Return on Investment

We were able to sell things online, which we hadn't been doing before (major no-no for 2018), so there was definitely a positive impact there.
It was easy for users to understand from the external view, so we didn't have lot of issues with troubleshooting.

Alternatives Considered

GoDaddy

We used Weebly because the online sales platform for GoDaddy at the time was WAY too complicated, and truthfully, we could not figure out to use it. Weebly really worked for us because of how easy and intuitive it was for the user. That was a really big selling point for us.

Other Software Used

WordPress, Adobe Illustrator CC, Clover Go

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it's appropriate for smaller businesses or non-profits. If you are looking to sell a certain number of items or you're looking for a place to start, I think Weebly is great for that. I don't think Weebly would be the best for large-scale brands or individuals who are trying to sell a LOT of stuff, because that would be difficult to manage on there.
