Overall Satisfaction with Acquia DAM (Widen)

We use Acquia DAM (Widen) to upload marketing assets (photos, video, finished materials). We organize the marketing assets using metadata keywords. We also use Acquia DAM (Widen) to create portals to deliver materials to vendors. We use Acquia DAM (Widen) internally to deliver assets to different creative teams so that they can search and find specific assets.

  • Acquia DAM (Widen) does well with uploading the files.
  • Acquia DAM (Widen) does well with creating thumbnails.
  • Acquia DAM (Widen) does well with integrating the system with our automation.

  • Acquia DAM (Widen) needs to improve it's search capabilities.
  • Acquia DAM (Widen) can make entering metadata while doing large scale uploads easier.

Acquia DAM (Widen) would be great for storing and housing material for a small team. It is great for housing photo assets. For a large department with diverse media needs, it can prove tough to manage and meet the needs of diverse teams.

    Thank you for your review and feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience with our asset uploader and search capabilities. We are working to improve the upload experience and have launched a new upload experience that allows admins to require particular metadata fields so they are not missed in the upload process. Appropriately defined metadata per asset will help improve the search function for all users. This summer, we’re launching a redesigned search UI that includes relevance sort, enhanced filtering, and performance improvements on the back end for faster and higher-quality search results.
