It is well suited if org wants to manage the digital assets. I know Assets today are not organized in lot of organizations. Assets are lying around different tools like Emails, Google or Microsoft drives or in some sort of CMS. Acquia DAM (Widen) is a good fit for centralizing and managing the assets.
