WooRank is being used to uncover various technical SEO problem areas as well give general ideas for potential fixes on the various websites I manage. It's just being used in the marketing department. The business problem it addresses is to help increase web traffic coming from organic sources.
- Points our technical issues with SEO and web site optimization.
- Gives a trackable and measurable score to set a benchmark for SEO improvements.
- Easy to use and work with.
- Identifies basic issues and problems (not ideal for in-depth and complicated SEO problems).
- Does not incorporate intelligence or recommendations around the impact of Google search engine algorithm updates.
- Sometimes the recommendations given are a bit too general and recommendations for fixes are not too helpful.
- Positive: Tells how your site is truly performing and can help dictate whether your site needs a total overhaul vs. some site fixes.
Great for the value. While Screaming Frog is free, it has its limitations. The marketing automation vendors have basic on-page diagnostics but do not go at depth at all into uncovering technical SEO issues.
