Overall Satisfaction with Workday Professional Services Automation

I use workday in order to keep track of vacation/PTO time and the hours I worked. It's sort of like a timesheet, mainly used to track time and tasks done at my job.
  • Great at tracking vacation and PTO.
  • Great at easily accessing tax documents.
  • Great at tracking time.
  • None really. It's pretty easy to use.
  • Shows that I have unfinished tasks to perform.
  • Tells me how much PTO I have.
  • Gives me my tax documents.
  • Shows the managing hierarchy in my company.
  • Easy to ask for PTO.
  • Easy to look for tax documents.
  • Easy to manage time and tasks done.
The user interface on Workday is much better designed and much more intuitive than Salesforce. There isn't a wide collage of different sections that confuse you on what to do. There are listed actions in the form of buttons that accurately describes what you can do. Salesforce, unfortunately, lack in that area, and its design is super confusing.

We use it primarily to track time for finance. As a developer, what I do is track the hours I worked the amount of time I spent on each task, and what I did during that time in the notes section. It also serves as a pretty good reminder of things you need to do whenever you log on.
