Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

I use the platform daily to get information or insight plus to obtain template letters or other documents I can then adapt for my use. The platform is a one stop shop which has extensive resources which allows me to upskill myself in new or less familiar subjects (e.g. TUPE), obtain information about particular aspects of employment law in the UK to supplement my existing knowledge, or to obtain documents for use. It is the most reliable and effective form of knowledge provision.

It has improved the HR compliance of our organisation and, in turn, what we are advising our clients on as a result. We are able to take elements from the platform and rework to suit the needs of the client which, in turn, aides them to remain compliant, practical and commercial.
The regular updates on the platform and the notifications are so important for us managing HR compliance. We are busy doing the day job so having the assurance that the ever changing HR landscape for compliance is clearly set out on the platform and so easy to access. It allows us to do our jobs better.
The other platform was not as intuitive as Brightmine so searching was troublesome. The documents on the other platform would have typos and could be out of date. There was no assurance the documents were legally checked before publication as they are on Brightmine. The overall experience was less positive and did not promote engagement. The price difference was significant, but overall Brightmine has been worth it.

Recently I was supporting a SLT on the subject of TUPE and whether they proposed takeover of another company would have TUPE apply. I was able to search Brightmine to locate specific information about the matter of TUPE applying, and went on to extract critical and clear information with examples of caselaw around the subject of TUPE. This was to presented to the SLT for their information and to invite them to review and consider carefully. TUPE is such a complex area of the law, but the information on the platform is well constructed and set out, so sharing that with SLT was useful. It gave them an opportunity to consider the options without the need to engage a costly lawyer.

Using Brightmine

1 - Human Resources. No one else uses the platform except me. I use it most days and find the additional items such as cases, podcasts, information sheets, all extremely useful.
