Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine
I use it for three main reasons: To check and/or validate my knowledge of specific technical matters on a case by case basis To receive updates, e.g. general and in particular about Pay and Inflation To occasionally send a question to the legal helpline.
Pros
- Structure of site is clear and easy to navigate
- Pay Surveys - high level and regular data flow
- Emailing interesting topics and case law updates
Cons
- Although the website structure is very good, the document management and filing structure can still be improved. Searches often bring back pages of items to review, not all of which are relevant to the search query
- I would like Brightmine to put themselves in the shoes of an overly busy HR professional who just needs a question answered quickly. Having that functionality would be like the holy grail.

- Increased awareness of legal environment therefore additive in the round rather than ROI traceable or specific
OK. I think part of the challenge is the question itself. By tieing so strongly to "Compliance" you are linking to employment law (which of course is what Brightmine is about), but this is just one aspect of HR and can drive a narrow mindset.
Always had Brightmine. Think the other offerings are different, e.g. CEB/ Gartner is far more strategic whereas Brightmine is more operationally focused.
