Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

To get upto date policy information or any law changes. Also using Brightmine for the function of the employment lawyers and the use of all letter templates and information on the Brightmine Portal. We have used the employment lawyer function in many occasions even if it is just to confirm a problem or to get advise on how to process with a situation.

HR Guidance

Great! I have loved to have access to employment lawyers when I am either unsure of a situation or to get guidance on how to move forwards. also just to confirm that what I am doing is correct as I am a stand-alone HR Manager its fab to be able to get that confirmation that I am doing the right thing but double checking this with them.

HR Compliance

Since being able to access the platform, it's been great to be able to get upto date policies and changes of any laws. For example the change of flexible working requests came though Brightmine and this was when I was made aware of the changes. Without this information I wouldn't of known about any law changes.

Alternatives Considered

I have not used any other online portals. Brightmine is the only portal I have used other than ACAS which helps in regards to the templates of letters and the process in which to follow for certain policies, eg, disciplinary, investigation, and grievance. I think Brightmine is more in-depth compared to ACAS but that also informs us of the right way to do things.

Likelihood to Recommend

Talking to employment lawyers, some of which can be extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I have had at times others that are not really interested in what you have to say and are trying to get you off the phone. In the times I have had great lawyers they have been amazing and I would 100% recommend anyone to use them.
