Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

Cons

  • There could be more information about 'ill health capability' - this is something I wanted to get some templates on but couldnt find this category on the templates / ER matters
  • Webinars
  • Maybe more filters on search bar
  • Time saved on research sometimes - example instead of searching on Google and trying to understand if sources are reliable, I can trust that sources are reliable on Brightmine
  • For cases where we have been able to make use of template policy / letter wording, it has helped to ensure that we are in line with ACAS guidelines, and so reduces risk
  • Being able to understand risks that have been exposed in other businesses and the best way of avoiding such scenarios has no doubt contributed (with cases where we have sources info off Brightmine) to avoid legal action
Its a good place to double check as a resource to see if there is any relevant information on there, or law updates.
We can always easily access Brightmine and easily use the search functions to find what we are looking for. The topical articles are always useful to see becuase they might not be about something that I have specifically gone ont ot the site to find out about, but then finding myself reading about issues of the moment, which is always useful and interesting.

It has helped when wanting to look at topical conversations, or recent concerns that have come to light. It has been useful when trying to find relevant templates of letters, formatting, and policies. It has been less suited when I am looking for information specifically about ill health capability, and ill health dismissal, I was unable to find anything on that topic on the site, and if it is on the site, it wasn't easily findable because I didn't find it when looking.
