Overall Satisfaction with Zenefits

We implemented Zenefits for our HR administration, Payroll, and used their 401k integration.

Pros

  • Ignoring your emails
  • Messing up taxes

Cons

  • Answering customers
  • Responding to emails
  • Payroll
  • Zenefits misfiled taxes and refuses to respond and assist us with the issue
Paychex Flex is better and more robust and at a lower cost. They will actually respond to your emails as well.

Zenefits might be good for a small company with a few employees. We did have issues with their customer service. We ended up leaving Zenefits because of it. Zenefits has refused to help us with a tax issue. Zenefits filed our taxes, and we got a letter stating there was a discrepancy. Today marks over 300 days since Zenefits acknowledged they received the letter from the IRS, but it is still unresolved. I haven't even been able to get a response from them. They do not have a phone number to call, and I have since sent emails weekly for 7 weeks, and no one will respond to my emails. This company is beyond frustrating.
