Overall Satisfaction with Zix Email Threat Protection
It is used across the whole organization. We want to be sure that anything being sent outside the company is encrypted, especially things that are attachments and could potentially contain PHI for patients. In the past, we had a hard time with our encryption system and users were not able to open the email that was encrypted. Users and our contacts were equally frustrated. Zix seems to work better.
- Most contacts can register and read the email.
- We have fewer complaints overall.
- Many other companies use it, making it even more simple for us to use.
- This may, or may not be, a Zix function. We have the system set up to by-pass encryption on simple emails for select users. Sometimes it will not bypass.
- Less complaints about contacts.
- Zix is more for our vendor contacts than customers, as we are service-based.
- Employees are happier and more productive.
We saw a demo and were familiar with the product from some of our contacts who used it before us. We were very unsatisfied with our prior encryption software - Sophos.
