ZOOMing Along With Video Conferencing
Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
We use Zoom as our video conferencing platform internally and with clients. We previously used GoToMeeting, but found that Zoom was a superior experience and a better product. Over time we have been proven right, as the advancements and features in Zoom allow us to scale without changing the account type, and allows us to do more. The idea of face to face communication, on any device, is a big problem solved.
Pros
- High quality video.
- Cloud storage of recordings.
- Google Calendar integration.
- HD video.
Cons
- Less customer mail about things we already know.
- Better support for small business users. Email and chat isn't always the best route.
- Better multi-monitor support.
- Zoom, when we use it, makes it easy to see everyone on a call.
- Zoom creates a great water cooler effect for stand ups.
- Zoom is a very useful tool for working with remote staff.
GoToMeeting: Zoom is far better.
WebEx: this is like the old style. It's so challenging and complex.
JoinMe: too simplistic.
BlueJeans: the only product that rivals Zoom, and in some ways may be easier.
