Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
Zoom is used within the company as our video conferencing solution, and it is being used across the whole organization. Zoom has addressed issues we experienced from our previous solution, in the areas of management of infrastructure and implementation. Users have expressed how simple the application its to use on their phone or desktops/laptops.
- Easy to use for users, and users have expressed how simple it was for them to start or create Zoom meetings.
- Zoom Rooms has relieved our system administrators from the hassles of dealing with an infrastructure that's overweight.
- Better alerting - The alerting should be scheduled, meaning we have scheduled downtimes but the portal has no way of scheduling a time where we don't need to be alerted.
- Alerting on when something has changed in the settings of the controller - Meaning we use video capture cards to put a conference room PC for our users. The issue is if the camera goes offline the Zoom Room will pick up the capture device and not alert that the camera is offline. But the room is not fully functional.
- Zoom's impact on our company has been positive, and it has simplified all aspects we face when meeting digitally.
My experience with Zoom Rooms has been awesome. As an administrator its easy for me to manage Zoom Rooms in our office as well as external rooms. Each quarter they keep coming out with new features and options which is exciting.
We just started to use Zoom Phone as a test, and we are looking to implement a Zoom Phone solution as a whole company solution.

Zoom has changed the industry. Previously we had to have about 10-20 appliances to run our video/call center, now it's down to a very small footprint. The administration of Zoom products is easy and straight forward compared to some others. Zoom has made our job easy which in turn gives us more time to tackle other issues within the company.
