Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
We use it mainly as our internal communication system. We have just started implementing the shared spaces for our different locations. One issue we are currently running into is that you can't rename the "general" channels. This causes some confusion for those who apart of more than one shared space. I would also like to be able to delete private chats with people who have been deleted. I have create a file for "trash" but deleting them would be much better. The scheduler tab for those who have the license is great and I love the calendar integration. I wish the email UI was a little more aesthetically pleasing.
Pros
- Integration to google chrome
- customizability of desktop client
- It looks good - which is much more important that some would think
Cons
- I would like to see the character limit on messages counting down - I didn't know there was a character limit until I had typed out a long message that I couldn't send
- I would like to be able to rename general channels in shared workspaces for ease of searching
- I would like more organization abilities - I'm not sure what this would look like but it tends to be overwhelming for admin users who have to be apart of all channels and chats
