Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
We use Zoom webinars for large webinars and Zoom meetings with external organizations where other products might be blocked.
When we host webinars, Zoom webinars allows us to register attendees, send automatic reminders, record content, and host the webinar.
When meeting without outside organizations, some block access to other video conferencing options. Zoom provides a reliable way to meet with those individuals, in a secure, easy to use video conference. Zoom AI also takes the notes for our meetings, which is a huge help.

Pros
- Zoom AI notetaking is top notch. The paragraph style meeting notes are easy to read, capture important action items, and reduce time / cost in taking meeting notes ourselves.
- Webinar registration and meeting reminders help ensure participants attend our webinars.
- One click meeting recording, stored in the cloud, makes it simple for our team to collaborate and post webinar recordings to our website.
Cons
- When sharing my screen, with dual monitors, it's hard to see what the others are seeing. It would be great to still have the shared video displayed so I can verify what's being seen by the attendees.
- Cost savings via Zoom AI meeting notes to reduce the number of people required to attend the meeting
My current workplace uses Google Chat, which is sometimes blocked by certain institutions for whatever reason. Zoom Workplace is available and a great solution.
Both Google and Teams have issues with video playback on my current Surface Laptop. Zoom has no issues and the video quality is always great.
I prefer Teams because of the integrated chat / ease of spontaneous meetings / and integrated calendar, but my employer does not use Teams.
