Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

Zoom Workplace is used for candidate interviews and staff meetings for members who are remote. This allows us to address availability by increasing overall attendance via virtual means. This allows for greater communication and collaboration. I enjoy using Zoom Workplace as it is incredibly user friendly. However as a medical practitioner I have to use other video software to meet patients.

Pros

  • Meet with candidates from all over the world
  • Breakout rooms for presentations
  • Online learning materials from renowned lecturers

Cons

  • As a free user, the 1:1 meeting limit of 40 minutes is a nuisance. It’s supposed to be free but I couldn’t figure it out from an ipad
  • We use the video of our emr system because it’s easier with confidentiality
  • Tablet function is sometimes missing the mark. Tricky when I don’t use a PC regularly for work
  • Hired someone remotely
  • Easier scheduled meetings
  • Attended online presentation

Easy way to meet anyone virtually. I love being able to send a link and then manage it within the app. I haven’t been able to find a way to make it a 1:1 meeting for unlimited time for the free version though. However it is not used for patient interactions in healthcare.
