Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
It is software that allows for communication between employees. Think of chatting, hosting meetings or giving eachother a (phone) call. It is a good way to stay connected while some employees are working from the office and others are working from home. So it allows for flexible working situations and connectivity and therefore allows productivity.
Pros
- Chat
- Call
- Meet
Cons
- File storing for groups
- Collaboration on content such as presentations
- Everything is online, saving carrier costs for mobile phone usage.
- Better communication through instant messaging.
- Not directly a measurable ROI on a collaboration tool.
It is good to summarize your meetings or you can use AI to compose messages. They can be emailed to attendees or people that couldn't participate but still want to know the highlights. Or ask questions about topics that were discussed in the meetings.
Zoom Workplace is primarily for communication such as chat, call and meetings, while Microsoft Teams also has strong collaboration tools such as file storing, sharing, editing simultaneously and creating channels where you can post content and discussions and chat about them. So I would say Zoom Workplace is a light version of Microsoft Teams focusing only on the communication.
