Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

I honestly believe that Zoominfo is the most effective marketing tool for identifying the correct company and individuals for field sales. It has enabled the expansion of our brand name as we engage prospects in lead generation and vertical marketing campaigns. ZoomInfo's easily navigable filters improved our efficiency and significantly reduced project scheduling. Furthermore, adding this platform to our marketing toolbox had an immediate effect upon field sales - supplying real names made cold calling almost nonexistent! An obvious success with sales, they were reinvigorated as the contact quality helped reduce the number of sales calls needed to identify business. It is now considered a fixture of our organization and believe it will remain a key element to our continued success.

Pros

  • Ideal for identifying the key decision-makers in companies
  • Easy filtering enables searches according to geography, job title, name, etc - very productive use of time!
  • Easy downloadable reports allow instant use of data

Cons

  • Recommend "phonetic" spelling as one may not know the correct spelling of a name
  • Allow setting of defaults - this would reduce the time having to reapply such desired filters, e.g. Last Update filtering or Contact Info settings
  • Allow 'United States' and 'United Kingdom' searches using 'USA' and 'UK'
  • Improved upon time to gather prospects
  • Improved sales confidence/trust in the quality of leads
  • More efficient use of sales time - cold calling is minimal
We had been purchasing contact lists, yet this proved highly ineffective since many e-mails were outdated and bounced when we conducted lead generation campaigns. Luckily, this had been recognized fairly early as an ineffective and costly approach to improve our market presence/penetration. Since acquiring Zoominfo, we have made an immediate impact with field sales and found that the information is vital to our daily operations.
We have learned that purchased lists are truly a waste of money/time and contain much erroneous information. Zoominfo truly excels in this aspect as updates are continuous, while it serves to build trust and confidence with sales. As they need to make the most efficient use of their time in front of a prospect, having an accurate contact name makes a huge impact upon the effectiveness of the sales call.
