Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo
We have a small consulting company with a strong network, but near zero brand recognition outside this network. In order to create brand awareness outside our network, we launched a content marketing campaign 18 months ago, targeting a very specific executive demographic and providing highly relevant information to them.
Once we had achieved recognition through the content marketing, we found it was very easy to proactively reach out to these executives for business development conversations. This approach has been highly successful, resulting in several six figure contracts with companies that hadn't heard of us previously, and wouldn't have taken our "cold call" without the content marketing.
We've relied heavily on ZoomInfo to find the right executives for our company, and for the contact information that enabled us to reach them by mail, email, and phone.

- Contact information including email and direct phone number. Can't find anywhere else.
- Ability to identify the right contacts based on company size, industry, job function, and level.
- I've found the contacts to be out-of-date about 20-30% of the time (people have moved companies or positions within companies). I cross check contacts with LinkedIn as a habit, it seems like it would be easy for ZoomInfo to do this automatically.
- The search keeps defaulting to "Return Current OR Past Positions", it should be "Return Current Positions Only"
- I would like to have "Purchasing" or "Procurement" as a job function choice in search. It should include people with titles including purchasing, supply chain, procurement, sourcing, commodity.
- Decreased time to reach decision makers
- Grown our marketing database tremendously
