Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo
ZoomInfo is being used by our SDR team here and some of our AEs as well. It's a great tool for finding accurate direct phone numbers and email addresses for key contacts while prospecting into accounts. Reaching people directly on the phone is key in today's world of sales as 1) it is easier to sell in general in real-time, and 2) getting a negative response allows you to get that person out of your hair immediately rather than continuing to spend additional time/touches via email over the following days/weeks.
Pros
- Very accurate contact information for prospects' direct lines and emails.
- Allows you to quickly sync prospects into your CRM with the click of a button.
- Gives you a great, updated overview of titles & positions within your targeted account.
- Simple UI and user friendly tool.
Cons
- Security issue discussions have popped up in the news and by word of mouth.
- Some of the filtering capabilties in general with the tool could be improved.
- Some information, like how long a contact has been with a company, is a bit outdated and could be better cleaned up.
- Increased amount of call connects, leading to more meetings and opportunities created.
- Faster time to find the right contacts and build out accounts.
- Sales organization across the board. Prospecting on steroids.
I've used a handful of tools in this category. LinkedIn Navigator is great for finding contacts at certain companies, but doesn't give very accurate contact information for individuals. Clearbit has a lot of inaccurate contact information and is better geared towards company profiles. ZenIQ is better for company segment size/employee count and not for prospecting.
