HRconnection needs more connections to other systems!

Overall Satisfaction with Zywave HRconnection

We use HRconnection throughout our organization to keep staff up to date on policy and procedures as well as employee perks and discounts offered by us or our partners
  • Provides a secure 24/7 availability of information, forms and various information we used to keep in public folders in MS Exchange, but that platform wasn't always available off-site
  • Provides resources and full campaigns for wellness and other employee living situations that are pushed out to our staff on a predetermined schedule.
  • Provide us a platform to improve communications with our employees for current events and news as well as an archival of older information that we can refer back to when needed
  • The onboarding of employees with benefits selection is not quite complete as it pertains to full integrations with carrier feeds and EDI solutions for HIPAA 834 Transactions
  • The ultimate solution would be to integrate with payroll systems such as ADP, PayChex or Paylocity. This would eliminate the need to input and update data in multiple systems
  • Integration to HR systems like Oracle or other HR platforms would be a bonus
  • Having the capability to offer our clients this resource has helped us win new business. However, once we implement it for clients they often struggle to get user adoption. This can be for various reasons, but mostly because the commitment of the client management does not always reinforce the usage of the resources within the site
We actually use HRconnection with a select few clients and use Employee Navigator, Plan Source, and ThinkHR because our clients or the carriers offered them to us as an online enrollment or training options
For clients looking for a communications portal this is a perfect fit. However, for clients looking to do online enrollment it is still lacking key features that other systems like Employee Navigator offers.

Using Zywave HRconnection

50 - All staff are encouraged to use HRconnection internally for our communications and to stay updated on our policy and procedures
2 - We have an training coordinator who is responsible for publishing the policy and procedures that are kept in HRconnection. As well as an IT role that adds and removes users and updates the site as needed
  • Communication platform for employees
  • an organized platform to keep our policy and procedures
  • 24/7 access to employee news, events and other communications
  • recently we've expanded on the tools to use the HTML editor which has allowed us to embed videos and other web links to display our information
  • Employee Onboarding but only if it is with an EDI feed directly to the carriers
User adoption is low within the client base that we have implemented this at and unless it can offer full EDI capabilities we will not be able to move away from Employee Navigator or Plan Source solutions
