24SevenOffice vs. Intuit Enterprise Suite

I would say if you have a staff that's already experienced in the 24SevenOffice program that would be best. People who are brand new to it will have too much time ramping up and training. Also, you'd better have a rock-solid network infrastructure if you want success with this program. A business with less tech-savvy workers just wouldn't work.

With Intuit Enterprise Suite we have learned how to move some of our manual spreadsheets into the system to keep better track and get better numbers with. Things like Inventory, and Fixed Assets. The training has been great, they have numerous webinars and meetings that help us better understand Intuit Enterprise Suite.

• Excellent UI that is easy to use. All features are a breeze.
• Because of the depth at which it has data, it can be used very well.
• Its integration with other ERP software is also possible for better analysis.

• It tracks all payments to all vendors, so if any questions arise, it's easy to find the answer.
• It tracks employee hours worked, holiday hours, and other paid time off, including vacations. It also tracks bonuses and employee profile information, including hire dates, contact information, Social Security, and Federal withholding details.
• At the end of the year, all of our financial transactions can be summarized for our accountants so our tax returns can be prepared.

• Unfortunately, usability is a major issue at times. I hear complaints about dropped network traffic, and it's not our infrastructure.
• The interface is confusing. We have to train new employees with a lot of detailed instructions which shouldn't be necessary.
• We have had to pay for any support on the above issues.

• I would like to see an option to set up a consolidated budget to run actual versus budget reports.
• I would like to see a consolidated accounts receivable and accounts payable listing as an available report.

I have worked with other accounting software products and nothing compares to the ease of Intuit Enterprise Suite because it is easy to learn and to train and there are multiple ways and shortcuts to use to get to certain areas within the software.

24SevenOffice has its own pros and cons just like any other software. It is a great software for an organization to do project management or financial management. It stacks up very competitively against others and is probably in the top 3. the UI that is offered by this software surpasses all the others that I have used and/or mentioned above. It is a breeze to understand most parts of the software by yourself. I think in terms of support there could be some improvement that can be possible and will result in much better feedback from its clients. Overall I give it a great rating in terms of usability and capability to handle the majority of business management, project management, and financial management features.

I have personal experience with both and believe that Intuit is the best option. Microsoft (and most of their products) are riddled with issues and limit productivity. Netsuite has a lot of customization options, but takes a long time to deal with and is much more expensive for the same things

• We were using a fairly similar program from an ROI perspective previously so I can't say it's had a big effect.
• That said the network issues represent lost hours/money.
• The added training is also expensive.

• I like it more than I expected I would - the convenience of having it all in one place and being able to toggle through entities is really a major improvement
