AdvancedMD vs. VCDoctor

It would be well suited for an initial user. If you are starting a practice and have nothing in place, it might be great. However, if you are a current EMR user of a different platform and have more than a hundred patients; don’t waste your time. This is a hands-off company that, in my opinion, will do nothing to support your efforts. We have a practice of 11,000 patients and would have had to hire 2 FTE’s to print all the patient data and upload it individually.

VCDoctor is the perfect software to manage your healthcare operations but not suitable for emergency treatment.

• They provide access to their underlying tables via Open Database Connection (ODBC). This streamlines business intelligence processes greatly.
• The "canned"/"stock" business intelligence tool (Advanced Insight) is very useful.
• Our dedicated customer support representative (Breah Teed) has exceeded our expectations.

• HIPPA: VCDoctor is strictly under the guidelines of HIPPA to secure patient details and brings trust to each other by ensuring that information is encrypted.
• Remote treatment plans.
• This allows patients sitting in the remote places to have a better health treatment on time Via VCDoctor.
• Practice management.
• This feature helps in case management and helps in assigning the roles and responsibilities to practicers.
• E-prescription.
• This feature allows the doctor to prescribe proper medication and helps patients in maintaining the past medication.

• Adding and Deleting provider columns complicated.
• Would have loved to have one point of contact at all times and have that person answer on the third ring (see, this is me really reaching--because as far as my job functions were concerned, the product was absolutely fantastic. I have no complaints).
• Working electronic insurance error reports in the system was a nightmare.

• Onsite office: If they could have a office or team in UK, it would be an added advantage.
• Multi layer
• Features are almost good, as the team is always open to adding functionalities as per requirement.

Overall, I think ADP AdvancedMD is very user friendly and constantly improves as new releases come out.

I've only reached out a couple of times and after being bounced around a few times I simply asked for our internal team to look into the particular question I had. I believe they had some turnover at the time but my experience wasn't great.

ADP AMD is much easier to learn and navigate than most all of the systems I have worked with, including Greenway and Centricity. The only thing I liked better in Centricity was the ability to run more customized reports, but overall, I would choose AMD any day over those two.

Before VCDoctor, I was using Practice Fusion for the last 3.5 years. I came across with this product through reference and I initially started VCDoctor as a pilot/trial version

• We are paying over 5K for absolutely nothing.
• We believe this company does not concern itself with the end-user.
• We identified a large lack of ethics in the organization.

• It's good to start with a software like VCdoctor to enter into the competitive industry.
• VcCDoctor helps us to save our time.
• Increase productivity.
