Chose AppSheet
Way above all of them for the simplicity of setup, usage, and intuitiveness. I have used it primarily with Google Drive, but, am sure it works well with other data sources as well. The community support is strong, really strong.
AppSheet has a great price $0 for learning and developing. AppSheet seems to be well rated by industry review organizations. AppSheet was fairly easy to get started.
If you need to manage special assets with unique characteristics and keep data in spreadsheets, Appsheet is ideal for replacing these sheets with a system. Once you start using it, you find yourself trying to move everything into Appsheet. It is perfect for generating internal software that would otherwise never be developed due to programming costs.
Contact forms are incredibly easy to build and customize, as are most other kinds of more involved forms. Forms allow html input and can be designed in a number of ways. It's helpful if you know some HTML. JavaScript knowledge can add advanced options, but is not necessary for the most common uses. The company used to call itself "No-Code," but has changed to say "Low Code," which is much more accurate.
Ethercalc is very well suited for developing modern-day enterprise (smaller-mid size), finance and healthcare applications as it can do Real-time data pull from a variety of third-party apps, and has interoperability with CSV, Microsoft Excel and JSON files; It's available on all on all public clouds including AWS, GCP and Microsoft Azure and can be used as a Low code and no code development tool. Further, we can Develop applications on the go with good integration and visualization libraries and we can also do Tabulation and graphing along with ability to use it as an npm module, do Real time collaboration and editing. It is a very good tool for startups and government institutions. There is a considerable scope of improvement for using it in bigger enterprises as it needs key integration and interoperability functionalities. It can evolve in a variety of directions depending upon its integration with a variety of third party apps services and tools. As an analytics tool, for example, it needs integration with R, Scipy, Numpy and keras libraries. Availability within Ionic, NativeScript or Appgyer as an extension or a plugin will be very useful for it being used as a large enterprise low code/no code tool.
Calculations - I have several apps that do some pretty complicated calculations, and decision making to build things like Shopping Lists for a Kanban assembly team, where the app will help a stocker determine whats low in a kanban assembly line stock box.
Document generation and record keeping - I have an app that users digitally sign and receive PDF contracts, and the system automatically records all records from the transaction. Everything is held in files on YOUR OWN DRIVE (Google Drive) so when you're done with the project or AppSheet you DONT loose your data.
Client/Customer Management - I follow the old school "Swimming with Sharks" model for client retention and customer engagement, and have built several small customer tracking tools for local businesses. This tool is limited ONLY by your imagine and desire to learn.
Caspio is an online database platform. It allows one to create multiple tables and views to be stored via the web. Tables can be configured to not only hold data but also to hold files like Word docs and images.
Caspio is great at creating online forms and reports. It allows the user to create forms to capture, update data, whether it's password protected or just a simple form.
As a database platform, one can create online tables and forms linking multiple tables and views to each other. I would say it is the Microsoft Access of the online platforms.
The system is very easy. Wizards allow one to create forms, tables, and datapages. Since the platform is online, you may access your database anywhere.
Once the tables / UX Views get way too many in number, it can become a little daunting to manage. This part of the UX may need something really smarter.
Ability to Undo.
Could provide more UI Look and Feel options. BTW, the new Graphs look great, but have some bugs, while the new INPUT() feature is a great addition too.
We are committed to Caspio Bridge. We could migrate to another product, but we would not be able to do so quickly. I estimate that we would need about a year (maybe more) to convert all of our forms and processes if we were to switch to some other product
It's just great. The usability is the best thing about Appsheet. You must choose which things will really be used later. You have to be careful of not generating something too big and then it feels like something that need to be learned. This is something that resolve problems, but you had to be able to think before doing. It will not solve problems itself. You need to find the problem, think a solution, and then use appsheet to make this solution a reality
AppSsheet has a support group and they show videos to help app builders. Though I have truck drivers' hours and can't join the webinars. Support groups with better assists me on a Saturday evening or a Sunday that I have time off. It's hard to watch videos driving down the highway.
I've had some instances where my team and I discovered a bug in Caspio. We alerted the company, and the bug was fixed in the next regular update of the software. The few times that I've had to contact support, it was a pretty good experience. They're not terribly quick to respond and take action, but they don't ignore you, either.
The ease that AppSheet provides to the developer is limitless. Before starting with AppSheet I used other software, but they didn't give me the tools at my fingertips. When I learned about AppSheet and everything it could do, I understood that it was what I was looking for, the ease with which everything is related within the app with a few clicks is impressive.
GroupHigh is so frustrating to use. It is constantly changing the way you can search for bloggers, and we can never find exactly what we are looking for
EtherCalc has a low barrier to entry on training and end-user development. It is very easy for startups with considerable time pressure to deliver to use EtherCalc as a tool for tabulation, organization, collaboration and computation. It is also very useful for use cases in government institutions where there is a strong push for open source software-based ERP solutions or app development. These are the key reasons for the selection of Ethercalc.
A good impact in general at the beginning since the free version allows great development so the investment in the implementation is of knowledge and time.
As a consultant I have expanded my services through this platform including new low code application building services.
Very good opportunities on using it as a low code, no code tool with ionic open source platform. Able to meet needs of our customers and do real time deployment quickly
Very productive and useful for developing web APIs and PWAs on the cloud, tablet, mobile and a variety of surface devices (touch functions can be customized according to needs)
Spreadsheet for the next 100-150 years as it integrates well with React, Angular and Jquery libraries. Maintainable and readable code of spreadsheet
Low barrier to entry on training and end user development
Good analytics and accounting tool for startups
What you see is what you get interface
The ability to integrate with firebase and Dropbox is neat.
