Overall Satisfaction with Caspio

I was introduced to Caspio Bridge at another organization, and I recommended that my current employer use it, as well, immediately after my hire. We've used it for the past 10 years, and I've also used it for interactive forms on my own small business website and those of my clients. It helps me build interactive forms quickly and easily. By purchasing Caspio forms, my organization doesn't have to hire an employee to build these forms from scratch. While there are a few limitations, I am able to build 95% of the forms that my on-site clients request. It also saves me considerable time. A form can be up and running in a matter of minutes or hours, rather than days or weeks.
  • Conditional logic.
  • Separate forms can work in tandem with one another.
  • Saves time and money.
  • Automated emails and/or SMS messaging.
  • Creates downloadable spreadsheets from databases.
  • The interface is small, and it could easily be redesigned so that more fields show at a glance, to prevent endless scrolling.
  • It isn't easy to manage your data transfer allowance or other account allowances, and certainly not in real time.
  • Eliminates the need for additional employees.
  • We use more than 250 custom-built forms (many very complex) across our site.
We've used FormStack and Form Assembly, as well as Google Forms. None of them came close to the capabilities of Caspio Bridge. Form Assembly was the best of the rest, but had very limited options. We've also used in-house forms developed in PHP by our own DBAs. Those are fine, but are harder to maintain and take much longer to produce.

Yes

Did implementation of Caspio go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Caspio again?

Yes

Contact forms are incredibly easy to build and customize, as are most other kinds of more involved forms. Forms allow html input and can be designed in a number of ways. It's helpful if you know some HTML. JavaScript knowledge can add advanced options, but is not necessary for the most common uses. The company used to call itself "No-Code," but has changed to say "Low Code," which is much more accurate.

Using Caspio

4 - All users are administrators or administrative support.
3 - It's helpful to know and be able to use HTML, but it's not strictly necessary. Some JavaScript knowledge can also be useful. Again, this isn't a deal breaker. You do have to have a grasp of logical flow, though. If you can make and use a flow chart well, you should be able to master Caspio Bridge fairly easily.
  • Contact forms.
  • Sign-up Forms.
  • Anything requiring data to be stored and accessible in a database or downloadable Excel spreadsheet.
  • I built an entire workflow for project management across my organization.
  • We're already using it in so many ways … I can't imagine what else we might do with it.
We are committed to Caspio Bridge. We could migrate to another product, but we would not be able to do so quickly. I estimate that we would need about a year (maybe more) to convert all of our forms and processes if we were to switch to some other product.

I'm completely happy with the decision to purchase Caspio.

Caspio Support

I've had some instances where my team and I discovered a bug in Caspio. We alerted the company, and the bug was fixed in the next regular update of the software. The few times that I've had to contact support, it was a pretty good experience. They're not terribly quick to respond and take action, but they don't ignore you, either.

No, we did not, although a few hours of it (8?) came with our purchase. We used it for one very involved project, and it was helpful. We tried to use it another time, but were told that they could not help us with that project. I never was explained the reason to my satisfaction.
Yes - Yes, and the company fixed the problem (one involving its CSS styles) in a subsequent update.
No, but all of the company's responsive have fallen into the "good" or "average" range.
