Additional DetailsAwardco Enterprise is priced fairly depending on your recognition program needs, and is often much lower than the industry standard. Our previous customers have found that they can use a portion of their previous recognition budget to implement and utilize Awardco, and the rest of the funds can be directed immediately back to their employees, thus rewarding them even more than before.Anyone can create a group and run a challenge on Count. It for free for up to 10 challengers. After that, groups can upgrade to a Premium plan. Premium is a monthly subscription paid by the group organizer. Payments are made at the end of each month based on the number of challenge participants, and the number of challenge days in that month. The rate is $0.10 per user per challenge day. For a one week challenge, the price per user is $0.70. For a 30 day challenge, it's $3.00. Users pay only for what they use.

Awardco
Awardco has something for everyone. I have employees in a variety of age groups and some want to travel, some want a tangible item, and others feel like they don't really need/want anything so they choose a gift card so they can use it how and when they choose. Awardco allows that flexibility. Also, if the individual isn't ready to make a selection right away, they can save their points to use at a later time. If an individual would like to select an item larger than their award amount, they are not able to add dollars to their personal account, which may cause some frustration to an individual.

If you are organizing a tech inclusive workout challenge this is your only option. All other methods require proprietary solutions that may exclude someone who doesn't have the tech or platform you are using

Cons
Awardco
  • I would like the system to be able to send email notifications to more than the employee and the HR Manager. It would be great if we could include the manager and the GM as well. Now I just forward the message to the others.

Usability
Awardco
It’s not super user friendly compared to other apps I have used in the past, and it also offers not as many partners. One feature that would improve it, would be connecting award bucks to a digital credit card. That way employees can spend it on what they want without having to get a visa gift card which is the current solution/ work around

Support Rating
Awardco
I am giving a "middle of the road" rating of 5 because I don't have experience with Awardco support. I have never had to reach out to the support team for anything, so I don't have any substantial feedback in this particular area. The program is so easy to use, so I've never needed to contact the support team.

Alternatives Considered
Awardco
Motivosity is hands down better. Easier for companies with employees in multiple countries, easier to spend the money you receive, easier to gift the money, easier to interact with and more user friendly. However, Motivosity is also more expensive and I find that cost is hard to swallow when you want to just invest the money into employees

They are all proprietary and only useful if someone you want to workout with has the same platform. As my friends and colleagues have all sorts of devices and platforms this hasn't been possible with those options. Count. It makes it possible.
