Chose PagerDuty
The platform we looked into, no longer exists
Chose PagerDuty
We selected PagerDuty because it does provide monitoring of issues, incidents, outages and also it does have alert systems which is at higher standard. PagerDuty also provides calling facility for any outage scenario, the person in On-Call will get notified by a call which is …
Chose PagerDuty
We use PagerDuty only, I am not aware of any other tools similar to this.
Chose PagerDuty
Opsgenie was useful, mainly for teams already using Atlassian tools, and xMatters was good for handling team communication during incidents, but PagerDuty felt more complete for managing the full incident process in one place. We went with PagerDuty because it manages alerts, …
Chose PagerDuty
We earlier used Zabbix mainly for monitoring servers and getting alerts, and it worked well for that. But it was more focused on showing issues, not managing how teams respond to them. PagerDuty helped us handle incidents better by assigning alerts to the right person, managing …
Chose PagerDuty
PagerDuty provides indepth analysis of the system failure and it only notify one time instead of multiple times for same system failure notification.
Chose PagerDuty
We previously used to use Splunk On Call (our former tool) before we came across PagerDuty and after evaluating both of guess what we found was PagerDuty was meeting the needs we wanted to fullfill as from our collections process point of view such as automation and escalations …
Chose PagerDuty
Opsgenie is an amazing application and cheaper than PagerDuty. But PagerDuty is better with alerts and it has no downtime. PagerDuty autoamtes the work better than opsgenie.
Chose PagerDuty
Its an overall better product which has no downtime. It has the fastest incident response time and provides all the features at a competitive price.
Chose PagerDuty
Its overall better than every other tool coz it combines alerts automation analytics and ecosystem support.
Chose PagerDuty
Pager duty is better than opsgenie because it offers stronger automation, smarter incident workflows, deeper integrations and better reporting. Teams respond faster, follow consistent processes, and handle complex incidents more efficiently, making it more suitable for growing …
Chose PagerDuty
Only 1 thing, it's cheaper than OpsGenie; both eventually do the same work, but PagerDuty does it better and cheaper.
Chose PagerDuty
I haven't used it hardcore, but it was ok may be I haven't got the full gist of it, but I really think PagerDuty is really superior to it.
Chose PagerDuty
Reporting and analytics are not well comparing to PagerDuty
Chose PagerDuty
There were more features and more ways to contact the provider. Ring Central would send out a call. I don't remember sending an email or text when I was paged. It seemed it was only an app on my phone and not located on my computer, where I could access it when I was working on …
Chose PagerDuty
Based on price and need, PagerDuty was the best option
Chose PagerDuty
PagerDuty has its advantages and costs associated. We use alternative to mitigate risk of failure, priority and effectiveness.
Chose PagerDuty
Better at the immediate response workflow
Chose PagerDuty
most of the team members were familiar with pagerduty and since its battletested and widely adopted and pricing was also competitive hence we have chosen pagerduty
Chose PagerDuty
PagerDuty provides better cost to value, and also includes AI based recommendations. Overall automatons possibilities are also great with this and since we have multiple integrations as well as we cannot easily to existing systems.
For us the responsive and helpful sales team …
Chose PagerDuty
We have not used another product in this space.
Chose PagerDuty
I like the PagerDuty much more than the FreshService UI. I find Freshservice to be extremly clunky and hard to use
Chose PagerDuty
Pagerduty is user adaptive and an indsutry leader in the incident managment/alerting management.
Chose PagerDuty
We have used Five9 for other features but haven't seriously considered using them for replacing PagerDuty. Our company already had PagerDuty when I joined and we haven't evaluated any other option.

They have been rock solid for us thus far and are not very expensive and to be honest no time to evaluate other software at this point.

  • From my whole team's perspective, it allows all the agents to focus on resolving instead of continuously monitoring their systems and helps them not to chase invalid customer, which has impacted our overall floor productivity
  • A downside about PagerDuty, what I feel would be that there is very little investment in time to set up escalation rules, integration, especially for our priority accounts
