Brand24 vs. SocialPilot

Brand24 is perfect for a company that wants to build up its social media presence. It's great to know when our organization is mentioned online so I can engage with other companies. I like the mobile app but if there was a way to be notified via phone with it that would make it even better.

I've already introduced it to a number of my colleagues and it's saving them time too.

• The interface of Brand24 is extremely easy to use and easy to understand for beginnings or mid-level emoloyees
• The results in Brand24 are organized clearly in buckets that you can either PDF or download the raw data
• Brand24 looks at several social platforms rather than just 1 or 2, like some other tools are limited to

• Acts as single interface for all the social networks
• Provides social media analytics
• Provides powerful collaboration features to teams
• Creation, curation, scheduling and publishing posts

• The user interface was confusing. I had to reach out to support for help, and I'm a pretty tech-savvy person to begin with. Support resolved my issue.

• The interface is kind of outdated, but easy to get around

I setup my accounts in minutes and was posting to social channels immediately without any delay. Really pleasing experience.

They help users make the most of SocialPilot and queries are attended to almost immediately. They even allow us to attach media to help the support team understand the query better.

I would start with Mention as opposed to beginning with Brand24. We originally used Mention but the price was increasing year-over-year so we wanted to try a cheaper alternative. We eventually did go back to Mention after Brand24, due to its ease of use and it was also easier to monitor our brand with Mention in the end.

• Positive: We can respond to customers in a reasonably realistic timeframe.

• It's had a positive impact that it saves hundreds of pounds a month compared to competitor
