CardConnect vs. QuickBooksPOS

CardConnect is a good option for payment capture, but getting less experienced stores up and running takes significant effort compared to other processors we use. This seems to be due to poor communication since there isn't a dedicated rep familiar with the use case like we have with other processors.

If you run a retail store, or need to setup a retail store quickly and QuickBooks is your Acounting software of chouice, their POS System is a perfect choice. Given the fact that they are both interconnected and created and maintained by Intuit, it's a no brainer solution.

• It tracks well your inventory, giving you alerts whenever a stock is low. It also helps you to re-order low stock levels.
• Great loyalty reward system, giving you the chance to track customers and reward them for their purchases.
• Generates comprehensive and easy to read sales reports.
• Very suitable for small businesses.

CardConnect does not solve problems or have managers or supervisors that exist do so. Voicemail box of the appointed representative remains full when you need to reach them. Representative will fail to read email if "lengthy". When you call for customer service you are skirted around from department to department, and specific questions are not answered.

We are considering moving to stripe soon. We find their POS to be comparable but their online processing features are integrated with far more platforms.

I feel like all of these products have their own advantages and disadvantages. I feel though that QuickBooksPOS is especially beneficial when paired with QuickBooks Accounting Software creating a combination paired from a single vendor as opposed to multiple vendors and managing integrations that may or not break between release cycles.
