Chanty is very good for networking messaging and low level collaboration between peers and colleagues. It's not great for video or voice calls or whiteboarding or file sharing.

You may use Monday.com to handle any form of project or job. You, your team, and your company may all benefit from custom boards. It is possible to boost productivity and communication across teams with the use of good automation and organizational acceptance. It's perfect for both on-the-go workers and those confined to an office. Despite the fact that Monday.com can help cut down on the amount of time spent in meetings, it does not completely eliminate the necessity for meetings or other team interactions. We still use internal emails, but they are becoming less and less necessary thanks to email.

  • monday.com is not particularly intuitive. You really have to "hunt" and "peck" for the right buttons to update and comment on projects
  • Although I'm getting the hang of the software, there is still some confusion as to where my projects are listed. After a few moments of research, I can figure out what is where.
  • The "look" (graphics) of monday.com is initially confusing to look at

I have been sent quite a few emails about functionality and support on a pretty regular basis, which is great. I have not had any need to contact support as the platform is pretty simple to use, it was easy to download and install and I have not encountered any bugs or other issues so far.

I haven't personally had much experience with the enterprise support plan, but the overall support from Monday.com has been great. They are relatively responsive, and can normally assist within a few hours of sending an email or logging a support ticket. They also have a wide range of how-to and troubleshoot videos on their YouTube channel which has helped us tremendously.

We signed up for the accounts. Created the accounts. Ran the trial version and tested it live while we were running multiple projects and found that it was fitting our needs perfectly. When the trial ended and we were asked to purchase the full version, we did. We have found other ways to use it and it's a breeze.

In terms of file sharing and speed of collaboration, I find that Slack is quicker and integration into Google Drive is very handy when it comes to working on documents, I have not seen Chanty do this. As for video Google Hangouts is as simple as it gets; again, I have not seen anything from Chanty in this area. I have also looked at and use https://guild.co/ which is much easier messaging and collaboration wise. The app and notification for Chanty is pretty good but it's loading time is slower compared to Slack and WhatsApp.

We used an excel spreadsheet to track our month end close process previously which created a lot of issues around only one person being able to be in the checklist at any given time. Additionally, we were unable to have excel notify us when a task we need to have completed was done, but Monday.com has completely changed that for us!
