Codility vs. Jobma

Planning an Exam Scheduling and running the exam Taking the exam Assessing the exam results All done for remote candidates. While working remotely from home during the pandemic many managers found it harder to examine techie talents. Right after when the market started to boil and competition for talent rose, we all tried ways to make it easier for talents, so remote exams become more common and friendly. The ROI, while not always quantified, is in candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction as per recruiting talents.

This is pretty much perfect if you are in a situation like us i.e, want to improve/replace your phone screening and ensure your clients only interview good candidates. It also works great for pretty much any role you might be hiring for since the video interview part happens early in the process. The only scenario where this might not be used in your recruitment process is if you hire a few people throughout the year. In that case, it probably doesn't make sense.

• Overall interviewing experience with Jobma is outstanding.

• I feel like their live video interview should be easier to set up. Right now it takes a few clicks to get it set up. There should just be an option to immediately do a live interview without the scheduling bit.
• We would like to be able to download our video interviews but I am told that is a GDPR/compliance thing they cannot do.

Works great. Its affordable and reliable. Great support. Whats not to like

This was the best that integrated with our TA system (Greenhouse) and we got positive recommendations. At a time we considered other talent acquisition systems, such as Success Factors, the integration was insufficient. Other than that, the talent acquisition Director was bios, based on previous experience, so as IT, we didn't have much of discovery or selection to make.

I have used Spark Hire in my previous organization which is an alternate software for Jobma, but Spark Hire pricing is very expensive when compared to Jobma. So I would recommend always Jobma for its features and affordable pricing.

• Being able to asses the technical skills of candidates in a hands-on way, with scores
• Easy to manage, does not take much time form recruiters

• Integration of Jobma into hiring tool kit has significantly reduces the interview rounds and time and fast-forward the complete interview process.
• It provides easy to easy dashboard and make it convenient for the hiring managers to track personal and team performances of recruiters that makes hiring more effective and objective driven.
