Conga Sign vs. Formstack Documents

Our use case for Conga Sign is pretty straightforward. Because of this, there is not much about it that would be considered excessive or inappropriate. It suits our needs as a tool to record data provided by a signer. It can also be launched from inside Salesforce via a custom button for ease of use.

[Formstack Documents (formerly WebMerge) is] well suited for a mid-size organization that has multiple data inputs and needs to provide structure and professional document generation. As helpful as it is, the cost would prevent smaller businesses from realizing the cost savings that a larger one will.

• Some businesses still don't consider digital signing of critical documents a legit way.
• Conga sign still doesn't allow sending of multiple files for signing.
• There is a slight rendering time we have noticed while the customer opens the document which can be reduced.

• We've had some issues with document formatting when the Formstack document comes through. Nothing outrageous, but it has been very inconvenient and annoying.
• The Formstack website is not attractive or user friendly.
• I think it could be clearer to Formstack users that it is a tool that needs another tool, not a tool all its own.

Ease of use, nice functionality that saves time

We're a relatively high-skilled team and we all find Conga Sign's user-friendliness very low for all user types. It should not take a highly skilled tech person to complete documents. Documents need to be user friendly for all user types.

Conga Sign is much more affordable than DocuSign for our organization and we are using Conga Composer already to create documents. We found that the integration between Conga Composer and Conga Sign was easier to use and we have a nice discount from Conga due to us adopting several of their products. DocuSign for the price point didn't make sense to us and it has less write-back functionality with Salesforce.

Each of the programs above answered a specific call to action. While each addressed a small portion of our need, they never quite fit the bill for what we needed. It was actually a representative from three of the ones above which selected WebMerge. They wanted to sell their product, but knew that we would be unfulfilled if we went with them

• We are growing our Strategic Partners and each requires a signed agreement, very essential to growing our business
• We need to update our Plan Administration agreements and having automation for getting and tracking all of the signatures is vital
• Conga Sign is good enough for all our use cases so we don't have to worry about using 3 or 4 solution platforms to gather signatures.

• The return on investment has been very good. It's very cost effective product. Our service team is on the phone and it takes away from the customer service if they are having to input the same information on applications. Web Merge eliminates additional key strokes while giving customers more time to run their business.
