ITProTV is an elearning platform that aims to allow you to ditch the boring slide shows and start really learning IT. The training is more like a talk show -- you’ll watch your ‘edutainer’ engage with a host and an online audience to create a better-than-classroom experience that you and your team will look forward to watching. The vendor says new content is added every day and the course library has more than 3,300 hours covering all of the major certification courses (e.g. CompTIA,…

Chose Coursera
Many other LMS systems, including Blackboard, and Canvas, have been examined or utilized by us in the past. Each has advantages and disadvantages, but I believe Coursera is an attractive option for any company because of its well-known brand and global presence of high-level …
We've looked at or used many different LMS platforms including Blackboard, Learnshare, Canvas, Cornerstone, SABA, and many others. Each has its pros & cons but I feel Coursera given its brand recognition and built-in following it's a great value for any organization. I would …
I like Coursera because it has lots of high quality contents I can use. I learn a lot from the professors from the top universities in the world. Coursera also has generous policy of financial aids. I am thankful for that policy that makes my learning on Coursera more reachable.

Chose Coursera
Coursera has been the only tool of its kind I've used intensively. I've seen video lectures from other learning providers and while they can be effective, what makes Coursera special to me is its interactivity and creative ways to allow the student to solve problems and gain …
I like Coursera much better than Udemy. The user interface of Coursera is much better. I also feel the content of Coursera is little bit better than udemy.
I think Coursera has the best overall interface. I think you will find that different platforms go in different directions, and have different specialities. For the most part the differences are more in the types of courses they offer than one being particularly better than the …
Coursera has wide range of disciplines and some subjects other MOOC platforms do not have. I am using Coursera along with other online educational platforms and courses to arrange courses on a complex schedule. Coursera has a free option (free listener) where students are able …
There is a Mentor Course, for those chosen that have been good at some courses. You can find almost everything (talking about courses), of lots of topics and categories. It's simply amazing. You can learn a lot, even if you don't pay for the certificate.
Obviously, Coursera lacks some of the formal credentials that a college or university degree offers. It also has limitations when it comes to a broad scope curated academic course that a university degree offers. However, it does afford users who couldn't afford a full-on …
Obvious focus on quality content, entertaining, more value for the investment (both time and money). I've also used Cybrary, Trainsignal, and some others that I cannot currently recall. That is likely because ITProTV really stands head and shoulders above the others.
I use all these for my training. ITProTV for the labs and practice exams and everything else as an alternative outlook or segmented training. Some teaching may be expressed differently allowing for me to better grasp the concepts.
We have used multiple other trainings in the past, like Microsoft's own free training and certification that is available online. We've also found ourselves "you-tubing" training videos and tutorials (who doesn't?). Rather than hope that the YouTube video got it right, we can …
Previously my team used the Microsoft on demand training which has everything you could ever dream of from Microsoft in the same format as ITProTV. It did have the latest and greatest Microsoft training because it is Microsoft, but it only had Microsoft and nothing more. The …
I really enjoyed Khan Academy it helped me out when I most needed it. I was able to understand my classes and pass the courses without a problem. I always felt great and knowledgeable after watching their videos. I would totally recommend their services to anyone looking for …
I personally found Khan Academy much better suited for adult learning of difficult or larger topics. Not so much for smaller changes that can be communicated via email. But it was more engaging and I found the information easier to digest. Change management can be tough but …
Khan Academy focuses on fundamental science and math, while the other websites publish courses on specific topics in computer science. When in high school, Khan Academy is a lot more useful, since that is the time to firm up the basics, before taking on advanced classes and …
Khan academy is free, that’s a big plus. Also, it is way less fragmented than Coursera for example. There are a lot of diverse topics I can select from and even if it’s not related to my job, I sometimes look at the history section. One missing feature compared to other …
The number one reason to choose Khan Academy over other options is price. If you are looking for a special skill or a quick answer YouTube is a great resource. Khan Academy is better suited for those who want to have a pseudo-classroom experience while still learning a subject …
Khan is better to take shorter learning modules. Coursera is a considerable investment as it is whole college courses. Khan is great to learn certain concepts and refresh learnings or trouble shoot problems. Khan is better for high school students to use to reinforce and …
easy explained concept as compared to other two service providers. Community is very active at Khan academy especially compared to other two brands, very well use of Artificial intelligence and great work in upgrading the content.
This is nothing similar to Khan Academy that I know of. It's a complete K-12 education, completely for free. It's not only free but high quality and fun, so much so that I have spent quite a lot of my spare time working through different courses for refreshers or that are of …
It's absolutely ideal for programming. Today, most programming environments are available for free and enthusiasts can tinker with programming on their own. But Coursera structures that process and presents iteratively more complex assignments to the student. I found it useful for non-programming. I took a refresher Calculus course and the user was able to enter solutions symbolically which I found impressive.
ITProTV is GREAT for smaller teams looking for a cost effective solution to help their team members skill-up and stay up-to-date on current tech and certifications. It's equally good for larger teams who wish to have a ready available resource for their team members to access and train. The ability to stream to multiple platforms (desktop/laptop, mobile, smartTV, etc.) means that you can access the content anywhere. If a team is only acessing the content infrequently or doesn't need the Transcender practice tests then an individual plan may be best. If there is only one technology that a team is focusing on (Apple certification, MCSA certification, etc.) then this may not be the most cost effective solution.
For larger projects, product changes, legislation updates, Khan Academy makes it easy to transfer information in an easy-to-digest manner. The software works really well with adult learning as it keeps users engaged in quick bite-sized lessons. It's more appropriate for larger changes and bigger implementations. It's less appropriate for smaller projects, or minor changes/updates, where quick training sessions would suffice.
Coursera's courses are extremely good. They are well designed and being a full time employee I really appreciate the fact of how well they are designed.
They have made sure that everybody gets enough time to complete it.
There is an active community which is very helpful. No matter how good a teaching material is, you might always need extra help. This community can answer your question. And also this becomes extremely relevant if you are taking programming courses
There are assignments to test your skills. This is a great way to evaluate yourself. At this point if you feel like you haven't understood something, you can always go back and refer the videos. Most of these assignments can be applied to real world problems as well which is great
Training videos broken down into reasonable times to make it easier to fit them into an already busy day
Transcripts --> sometimes it is more than a little helpful to quickly scan back through a transcript for a bit of information rather than trying to scrub through the video to find it
The Practice Labs and Exams --> this alone is incredibly helpful and would cost quite a bit if purchased on their own.
If you leave the projects for the weekends, your Sunday nights could be a drag. But I list this as a benefit also, it enforces discipline on the learning process.
I hope Coursera continues to offer no-cost and low-cost learning opportunities.
I honestly can't think of any serious deficiency in the product. I am a huge fan.
Only complaint and which keeps me from giving a 10 rating is that I like to watch the videos on a TV. And only Amazon Firestick and Apple TV apps are supported at this time. I think a compatible Android TV app is needed.
Using ITProTV has been a cakewalk. Not once have I wished that we went with a different vendor. The content stays updated. My technicians are improving their skills. We can train when we need it and access the content required. We are improving all the way around.... why wouldn't I want to renew?
Let me start with... their chat really works. You aren't chatting with a bot. When we first looked into purchasing ITProTV, I opened a chat on their site. One of their sales people, Brandon, contacted me quickly and by phone. I totally thought I was chatting with a computer, then the phone rang and Brandon introduced himself. I was blown away. Then, on the two occasions when I contact support, I did it through the chat. Not only did my problem get resolved quickly, a tech named Jessica followed up via email a couple days later to make sure the issues hadn't continued. Fantastic!
I've only had to seek support one time. There was a glitch in one of my lessons and I submitted an email. The glitch was fixed by support within a few days, but I would've liked for it to be faster. However, I don't have a big complaint there because it is a free service.
We've looked at or used many different LMS platforms including Blackboard, Learnshare, Canvas, Cornerstone, SABA, and many others. Each has its pros & cons but I feel Coursera given its brand recognition and built-in following it's a great value for any organization. I would not want to build out an entire MBA or other MASTERS level online program on it but it is a great way to allow potential students to experience your institutions content for a low price (of free).
Obvious focus on quality content, entertaining, more value for the investment (both time and money). I've also used Cybrary, Trainsignal, and some others that I cannot currently recall. That is likely because ITProTV really stands head and shoulders above the others. The continuous improvements that are functional, practical, and customer focused keep me coming back and also I can feel confident when writing reviews like this or recommending to others. There are few companies these days that I feel comfortable making such statements about.
The number one reason to choose Khan Academy over other options is price. If you are looking for a special skill or a quick answer YouTube is a great resource. Khan Academy is better suited for those who want to have a pseudo-classroom experience while still learning a subject or skill. I have used Lynda and Udemy; there is little difference between Khan Academy and those two options.
The greatest benefit of Coursera is access to quality courses on various subjects that you can either browse or dive in deeply. Customizable, flexible and accessible.
Helps our department to recommend trainees courses on this website and gain important knowledge. Also, the courses are provided by big-name universities which helps students in their careers
