Comparison of Recruiting / ATS features of Product A and Product B
There is definitely a little bit of a learning curve (but this would be with any platform) but what we have loved most is the ability to centralize both relationship management and workflows. We feel it has given us much better visibility into our pipeline. We love that the platform is highly customizable (with the help of our customer success manager) which has allowed us recreate workflows that have already worked for our team and has been easy to use for our new team memebrs
cBizSoft's Exelare is very well-suited to the staffing industry. It allows for multiple contacts under a single client record. You can then enter & track all Jobs & Recruiting activity. It's fairly well suited to being a CRM as well. It does have the capability to link with ADP once you 'place' a candidate in the system. However, if you use another payroll system, you're stuck exporting reports & info to import in your payroll.
Strongest aspect is how it enables the user to customize what fields they see and that it allows the user to filter on any and/or each of the fields in an Excel Spreadsheet like environment.
Excellent list management features. Static lists as well as Dynamic lists are great.
The Crelate ad response can be pretty touch and go. Crelate should be able to identify similar emails and phone numbers and replace them into the stage they were in.
Crelate needs to have better interface with job board sites such as Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.
Like said earlier there is definitely a little bit of a learning curve but support and CS is wonderful to work with. Our team trainings have helped significantly. The ui is really easy to navigate as well, a little outdated but easy to navigate but they are in the process of improving it I believe.
Usually the Crelate support is very responsive and quick to fix any problems that arise. I've personally seen emails of the threads where Crelate support was quick to resolve problems and act courteously while doing so. While I have never called their line, it seems that their phone support is also well experienced.
Overall there is a ton of useful functionality in the software. Reporting is great. You can mass load & edit candidates, & almost any type of record really. You can customize a lot of the menus for your own purposes & statuses for candidates. It can be used for Sales/CRM activity too. However, the interface looks like it was built in Windows 95 or something. The fact that it's not cloud-based seems to confuse a lot of our users
It went from a less expensive alternative that did most of what we wanted better than our last ATS to being just the same price as their competitors. Hard to say what our ROI would be with the product.
