We are very established with them and they have things like managing registrations statuses, cancelled, denied, pending which makes a big difference and also the templates we have set up for how we build events
Cvent offers a more user-friendly experience compared to other platforms. It is purely focused on event management, which means it has all the functionality we needed out of the box. It is especially well-suited for multi-session events and provides functionality that other …
Honestly, Cvent Event Management's registration platform is superior. The logic, setup options are far better than what the companies above have to offer. The only downfall is that it is far more expensive, and sometimes isn't needed for the most basic of registration sites.
Some of the platforms we have used don't show up in the options available to select, but Cvent Event Management is definitely one of the most customizable and intuitive platforms we have used. They are also very consistent with their brand in the quality of the product they …
Cvent was the only events software that could meet our needs at a price that was palatable. We have been with Cvent for over a decade and I shop around every time we come up for contract renewal just to see what's out there. Cvent hands-down is able to handle so much more …
Cvent Management is an easier platform to use to communicate with the clients. It also does not require the client to pay any fees to promote or set up their events. I feel like Cvent Management is more interactive when it comes to scheduling, planning and getting the word out …
The top reason I prefer Cvent Event Management over NetForum is the customer support. Our Account Manager and Customer Support Staff are in constant communication with us. They anticipate our needs and help us find the solutions. If we don't feel confident in a product, they …
Cvent Event Management is easier to use and quicker. It doesn’t lag, and all the information is already in Cvent Event Management so you don’t need to enter all the data.
These products emulate the Cvent Event Management product and offered reduced analytics and costs. However, they are lacking in integrations and expanded data analytics beyond basic information.
Both have pros and cons. E-touches is easier to sort registered attendees to accommodate preprinted badging options. Cvent Event Management - design capabilities are WAY better.
Cvent Event Management is more customisable and has a lot more features than other suppliers. I am able to fully customise the delegates experience, such as emails, website and registration form. The surveys also allow for sub questions which can be very handy if you want …
It's a night and day difference. Blackthorn was disaster and had SO many bugs. We have yet to run into a major issue with Cvent Event Management. Cvent Event Management did cost more money, but we're getting so much more. Blackthorn didn't have user friendly event emails, Cvent …
EventBrite is not able to handle the complex registration forms that Cvent can. It does not collect as much information, cannot produce the save level of reports, and does not allow for multi-leveled and/or multiple registration types within one form. Being able to offer, and …
The Cvent Event Management platform outperforms Hubilo due to its event-wide integration. The platform provides all items in one central hub, allowing data to be shared seamlessly across the different areas. This removes the need for different products and software as the Cvent …
Zoom Webinars is the easiest to use, and because it integrates into the Zoom ecosystem including Zoom Meetings, it's so easy to transition from Meetings to Webinars, and record everything using AI. I think that's really where Zoom plays a huge role is its entire ecosystem and …
Video quality is better, for one. At the nonprofit I volunteer with, we have board members who don’t use google products so Zoom is the best solution for collaboration. I really appreciate the ability to record meetings and webinars. Actually, I haven’t spoken about the webinar …
Zoom is my go to as it is reliable and user friendly. Other programs have streaming limitations or connectivity concerns that we never experience with Zoom.
Ease of use, video and audio quality is much better as compared to other and the Ai feature for summarising the meeting and help in forming presentation and report , even have ease in integrations and Ui as compared to other platforms , and as we had many meetings through it , …
We actually use both Zoom Workplace and Google workspace because both of their pros and cons. It is harder to move out of a workspace eco system and integrations so we never really completely migrated away from Google to Zoom Workplace.
Teams is great for internal use. However, for external video calls and meetings, I always opt for Zoom as it is an easier application to use, does not require a (Microsoft) account and the programme is quick and easy to download and use, whereas Teams can be clunky and harder …
Zoom is a good option compared to these other softwares as it is more universally accepted. The advantage of this is that most people use Zoom, making it easier to arrange a call with external stakeholders. Microsoft Teams is often very unreliable, and Zoom seems to work more …
We use Google Workspace as our primary email domain and online storage. Zoom Events & Webinars really does not offer this. I have used MS Teams in the past and still use it on occasion. In my experience, Teams used to be horrible to use and walled off to only people on your MS …
I prefer Zoom Workplace for the UI. Teams is buggy and there's a lot more lag moving around the platform and call options. It has a better messaging system for sure but calling aspect is less than desirable.
Better analytics, better for large numbers of people and hosting events like webinars. The quality of the video, in my opinion, is better on platforms like Teams. Maybe this is because of the volume of people that are logged in at once.
The combination of superior ease of use, relative affordability of a license, high participant volume, rich feature set, custom branding capabilities, excellent audio/video codecs, lean resource usage, and studio production features.
We moved away from MS Teams due to several factors: 1)The ability to have a calendar reminder pop up for the upcoming webinar. 2)The ability to have Zoom automatically send a customized one hour reminder email to everyone who registered.
Zoom Webinars provides a platform to address a larger audience with ease. It provides clear audio and video. Features are better for conferences and lectures when compared to Skype.
I've had limited contact with Whova and Hopin, but I've got clients who have looked at them in detail for events. After hearing my guidance on proper licensing of Zoom Events and training on Zoom Events editing and configuration, they've all been very pleased with going the …
The system is great for registering for your event, including session add-ons, taxes, and more. It can manage different access and visibility to different sessions or prices based on the reg type. For smaller events, it is just too pricey and does not make sense to use.
I had an issue with my calendar syncing to Zoom Workplace for a while, that was annoying, but it resolved itself someway. Maybe an update. The invite feature is week when in a call, my team never receives them, I manually always have to send a link. I also do not get Zoom call notifications so I am late to meetings often. Too much work to manually find that feature, wish it was a default setting like Teams. I prefer Zoom Workplace because I think it works faster, is smoother, and I prefer the video settings UI over other platforms. Everyone else makes it too complicated to change backgrounds or blur as necessary. The adjustment for low light is also a huge win.
You have to implement a workaround to use images in your session descriptions.
They tend to add features by acquiring other platforms, but then don't always cleanly integrate them into Cvent itself, so they always seem sort of ratcheted on.
The media and document library is pretty basic, so you need to take extra steps to link PDFs and other documents within the registration process if you choose to host the docs on Cvent.
I will we could add registration disclaimer language to the Webinar templates.
Some of the customization and setup features are difficult to find.
I would like to add someone to help me run webinars without paying for them to have their own webinar platform. We should be able to buy one platform and both of us log into it and setup and run webinars from it.
I enjoy the app and what it has to offer. It makes working in events a lot easier! Before I would have to go to our warehouse and print name badges and write out different names if they needed it. Attendees also did not have access to our breakout sessions. Now, I can adjust names onsite and we can allow attendees to access our sessions before the event begins
We will be renewing with Zoom as long as it continues to meet our needs for client and lead outreach needs in a robust manner. With little error and an easy to use interface, Zoom has met our needs and exceeded our expectations. The cost is right and with a short learning curve, Zoom has been an easy decision to make and maintain.
Cvent has a lot of functionality, which can be overwhelming to new users who are not too technically savvy. However, Cvent does a great job of providing tools and support for users to learn and troubleshoot. I also appreciate the work and progress that Cvent has been making in Accessibility.
Zoom [Video Webinar] is easy and secure to use. It has all those feature which can make a virtual meeting go smooth. Zoom [Video Webinar] provides one click join option and easy screen sharing. It also has strong tools to restrict meeting controls and is secure enough to let you start with it. Zoom [Video Webinar] in relation to other video webinar application is easy to use and lightweight, its mobile application is also easy to use.
It's not very often the platform has switched off or had errors. That only occurs when multiple people are usually in the same events making changes. On our end it usually slows the platform down , not an often occurrence
It works well, integrated into other platforms hasn't cause problems. However saying that it cause other platforms such as iCapture to work slower and slightly glitchy- this has been raised but for now its a put up with it type of issue. This has only recently started happening
The company offers 24/7 customer support, including phone, email, and chat support, to ensure that we can get help when we need it. Additionally, the platform has a comprehensive help center and knowledge base, including user guides, tutorials, and FAQs, which help us troubleshoot issues on our own. Cvent also provides training and support resources, including onboarding assistance, live training sessions, and webinars, which help us get the most out of the platform. Overall, Cvent appears to be committed to providing excellent customer support and resources to its users, which can help ensure a positive user experience and successful events.
Zoom Video Webinar provides users with updates on their newest functions as part of an email subscribed list. They provide you with up-to-date information on all their latest changes and functions for ease [in] transition. Zoom Video Webinar can be contacted easily for any questions or concerns you may have with the platform and the response is timely.
Our on-site trainer was very knowledgeable in the product and gave us very important pointers on best practices and how to perform tasks in the simplest manner
It would have been nice during implementation if we had received more pointers on how to organize our parked report folders, libraries, etc. to avoid the mess we find ourselves in today. If we had known ahead of time the limitations we could have planned better.

There are multiple people across our organisation who use CVENT Event Management. They do only use the simple features and thats mainly for registrations, but the simplicity of being able to duplicate events makes life easier for those members. They are able to duplicate events and keep them running smooth and take payments.
The Cvent suite of events has drastically reduced redundant work throughout our events department allowing us to streamline a lot of the registration/software aspects of our events and allow us to focus on other areas of our events that had previously been placed on the back burner.
Since Cvent Event Management is so widely use, many of our attendees, exhibitors and speakers are familiar with the platform so they are able to seamlessly operate within it for their needs with little to no learning curve.
We're able to pull more accurate and customized reports based on specific information we need with each event.
We able to offer our registrants a more customized experience with their registration and event platforms. This allows us to customize and innovate our events in new ways we previously hadn't been able to.
Our main need that Zoom Webinar meets is the need to have frequent company video webinars, and it's a need that Zoom meets far better than any other tool available.
The branding features available allow us to keep branding for internal and external webinars strong, unlike other tools which have minimal branding capabilities for webinars.
Zoom's new Events offering makes it easy to set up engaging and interactive hubs for multi-day webinars.
