Scenarios where it works well: 1) Retros can be very well facilitated & notes/action items can be captured against the sprint. 2) Product Owner can effectively track the story progress with all the test-cases, design etc. 3) Being good scaling support, it provides good visibility across multiple teams, programs and agile portfolios, providing a centralized environment where all our stakeholders can easily work together regardless of location. 4) It provides easy tracking all of your epics, stories, themes, defects, tasks, tests and issues 5) I like its intuitive UI as for moving stories around, burning hours. 6) It allows top leadership to visualize and report their strategic plans, giving all stakeholders the relevant data that they need to stay dedicated to the project priorities. 7) It can be easily integrated with slack so for few teams we used slack for collaboration Scenarios where it did not work well: 1) Test Management need improvement in terms of tracking tests, team had hard time tracking regression test cases. 2) Version one comes with lot of features like Rally but here we don’t get customizations which is there in Jira where from workflow to issue everything can be customized based on your team/program/portfolio requirements. 3) Lot of navigation to access basic stuff. Example I want to go to bug attachment , there are lt of clicks & navigation need to do which should be pretty straightforward I feel.
IBM Maximo Application Suite is well suited for organizations looking for an application to track their end-to-end procurement and supply chain process. It can also be used for billing services, but that would mainly be for services provided as part of a work order, not voluminous customer billing. IBM Maximo Application Suite allows us to have one application where someone from procurement can input contracts and details, someone from any various department can create a requisition and superiors can use automated workflow to approve a purchase order, and someone at an operations location can receive and store materials. Subsequently, someone in the field can submit their hours and material used and it be approved via automated workflow for an invoice to be created. Payment functionality is possible, but we did not implement this aspect of IBM Maximo Application Suite. To note, throughout the process, interfacing can be set up to send transactions to your general ledger. As far as interfacing, IBM Maximo Application Suite also offers tools and configuration to set up endpoints. We have been able to set up REST APIs and request/responses without heavy involvement from developers. This is a nice bonus if integrating with multiple applications.

The Analytics engine's user experience for digging into the data does not have the same feel as the rest of the system and, as a result, can be hard to work with
Hard to implement. A high number of resources and manpower is necessary to implement and upgrade IBM Maximo due to its robustness and number of functionalities.
Version fragmentation. Due to the challenge imposed by a version upgrade, it is common to find systems relying on legacy versions of Maximo which might become a challenge for the support team.
Unfriendly UI. The excess of functionalities and services available might become a challenge for a starting user. Although it is possible to customize the UI to fit the exact needs of each user, it is important to map exactly what each user needs.

The IBM Maximo Application Suite is well known for inventory management solutions. This solution is in use by many corporations but mostly I have seen its use in Ports, defense and aerospace industries. Some of the benefits are 1. asset tracking is amazing 2. Maintenance cost is less 3. Reduced inspection costs 4. Less downtime 5. It allows customization 6 Simplify data management 7. Highly adaptable

VersionOne provides outstanding training. They have Product Owner training that I recommend every Product Owner attend. They have scrum master training and other agile training that was well worth the money paid because it made the teams more productive. And the support for the tool is incredible. These people live and breathe Agile and are evangelists and enthusiasts.
Support is good (since we are business partner and do have direct contact with product development). For customers it might be sometime difficult to address real bugs ("work as designed syndrome") and/or additions, improvements or ideas. Creating them is quite easy, but track them in terms of follow-up can be done better.

Implementation of IBM MAS as a service provider has been easy. The functionality in the OEM space has been the best of its class with all related modules and application subject to maintenance

JIRA appears to be more extensible with the ability for Scrum, Kanban, bug/incident tracking, and the ability to customize dashboards. However, VersionOne's performance over the same teams is extremely fast in comparison and therefore allows users to be more productive over the same amount of time.
As a computerized maintenance management system i do not have experience of any other system. The only experience I have is for Maximo and it works excellent for me. I am using many modules available in Maximo and all of these modules are almost fulfilling all of my business needs.
