Ease vs. Sequoia One

Best for companies with payroll that take 360 integration with Ease. Great for an employee base that uses technology easily, but less great for employees who don't use technology well. You're able to input answers for employees which is helpful, but takes more work for the admin. The biggest benefit is the integration.

Sequoia One is an excellent PEO. On that point alone, I would give them a 10+. Their app, Sequoia One, drags them down. company uses a PEO when it's more cost efficient to take advantage of Sequoia One's reach and purchasing power to provide benefits and payroll services.

• Information is centrally located, albeit very hard to find at times
• Better from a user perspective than administrator

• Setting a date parameter on a report isn't an option.
• Some things are not customizable.
• Some of the integration with carriers doesn't work as seamlessly as it should.

I have a 10 minute rule if Im looking for something; if I can't find it in 10 minutes I contact my customer service rep who finds what I'm looking for. Fortunately, they have great reps who can usually find what I'm looking for very quickly. To be clear, if I'm looking for, e.g., a benefits summary, it shouldn't take more than a minute to find it

I've never had to call support for EaseCentral. Our broker typically handles any questions we have.

My general agency Warner Pacific recommended EaseCentral and I checked it out. Seemed like a great fit and well worth the investment. I know other colleagues that use and are happy with Employer Navigator and some of the other ones. I have not checked out many other options because Warner Pacific did all that research and work for me. 2 thumbs up for EaseCentral

TriNet's application was better than Sequoia One, but Sequoia One's service offering overall was better

• It has made employment of US-based employees very easy
• Great customer service that reduces the number if cycles to handle basic tasks
• The app is improving steadily. Just not fast enough.
