GLOBODOX vs. OpenText XM Fax

It can be used to organize files in one location. If you want to control user access to documents then the inbuilt security is very helpful. It has the option to create multiple databases, so you can have one database for each department. The redact annotation can be used to hide certain parts on the documents. The signature and stamp annotation can be used to sign and stamp documents.

XMedius is well suited for a large business with hundreds of fax numbers. Could you imagine trying to manage 1000 individual fax machines? That would be a nightmare! Instead it's all in one neat place

• XM Fax Support worked directly with Xerox to correct an issue I had with a device software update. Issues correct within a few days.

• Error logs include error codes, but sometimes it is hard to understand what it means. Either a shared documentation or detailed error log might help end users better to detect any issue on fax requests.

We are happy with the support provided. We get quick replies from them, and they have a knowledge base which is helpful.

Cost was the main factor in choosing GLOBODOX. Also it was very easy to use and implement compared to other products. The sales and support were very helpful during our evaluation period. During the trial we also found that the staff were more comfortable using GLOBODOX. So in the end it was an easy decision for us to choose GLOBODOX for managing our documents.

XMedius does faxing for a quick response from an end user where Egnyte is best suited for secure file transfer.

• Earlier we have spent almost 2 hours to find a document. With GLOBODOX we can find it in less than a min.
• Team is now efficient as they know where to find documents.
• GLOBODOX is priced lower than other products so it paid for itself in less than a year.
