GoodAccess vs. Twingate vs. Zscaler Internet Access

Getting remote users to the internal network without compromising the internal network to many different IP whitelistings. This was our case. We were able to get that going very easily and our internal team workload decreased dramatically managing internal network access. All we have to do is provide VPN to the users, approve their devices and we are good to go

The product as well as the admin panel is getting richer. Would love port-level access control as well as some more analytics in the admin panel. From what I hear, the team is actively working on it

I feel the product is very good to set up basic standards and go beyond that in many aspects. However, due to being sometimes too simple, it limits the ability to do some other complex changes. Having the ability to do both would be ideal for some, if not all, of the products within Zscaler Internet Access. A simple setup to have it stand-up, and more advanced settings for those more experienced.

• Ease of use/onboarding, it's very easy for an IT admin to deploy to users
• Simplicity, their management interface is dead simple to use and still powerful
• Static VPN locations! We were looking for a pretty specific place, and they offered many of our second choices as well.

• Easy access management for cloud resources, better security than VPN or IP allow lists
• 2FA via Google Login or OKTA
• Easy to onboard external team members (contractors, partners, clients, etc)
• Was easily approved by my partner security teams to use alongside their VPN client with no conflicts.
• Zero-trust security is a must-have feature these days!
• You pay for User, not Client or Resources--easy to roll out to all devices used by your users.
• No more hassle of maintaining IP allow lists for WFH/remote teams

• Provides a secure VPN connection point for endpoint connectivity.
• Provides the VPN connectivity in a fast and reliable connection state.
• Very dependable, once connected the connection stays up and there's no fuss.
• Very good at letting you know when you are not authenticated.
• Very easy to authenticate and regain access when your session times out.

• I believe the pricing model could use some better math for scalability, but it's still highly competitive and simple to upgrade with. For a mid-startup it will be harder to choose a company I believe, but for a 2-10 person organisation, there won't be any better.

• Windows installation had a small glitch, customer support helped quickly resolve the issue

• ZS CLI support to turn off ZIA and ZDX service specifically on mac.
• Better visibility into failed posture devices, including a timeline and the reason the posture failed (This is about the Zscaler mobile portal: Enrolled devices --> Failed posture devices).

I was tired to find good VPN service and want to help everyone to find real good quality and team. Want to advice Goodaccess to everyone, just try it, you'll see yourself. price is good, quality is the best and what is important, when you are buying package, you know what you will get.

While Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) delivers critical value in cloud security and RBI compliance, I rate renewal likelihood 7/10 due to evolving needs versus platform limitations. Below is my rationale:

Key Gaps:

1. Advanced Threat Costs:

ZIA’s add-ons (e.g., Advanced DLP, Sandboxing) incur 35%+ cost premiums – straining budgets as transaction volumes (UPI/iMobile) grow 50% YoY.

2. API Banking Scalability:

ZIA’s API rate limits throttle real-time policy sync during UPI peaks (10K+ TPS), forcing workarounds for finacle integrations.

3. RBI Future-Proofing:

Limited native support for upcoming digital rupee (CBDC) security rules requires custom development, increasing compliance overhead.

It was easy to setup, is easy to use and a great product for the price. It is not the fanciest or the most complicated VPN on the market, but it does exactly what our company needed it for and it does it very well. We would recommend this VPN to other companies in our situation as well

For the end-user, it is essentially an on-off switch integrated with our Identify Protection Solution

Getting started was pretty straightforward. We can tell the product is way more robust than we are using it. It started as a replacement for previous DNS-blocking content filtering, but we're exploring how this will add value with an upcoming DLP redesign and with traffic optimization at some of our remote sites with severe bandwidth limits.

We have hardly had any incidents because the service works very good, but when we have had doubts about the implementation of the gateway to connect ours clouds, the GoodAccess service has been fast and efficient. We have been able to implement and deliver our infrastructure faster with their help.

Support team understood my challenge and was able to influence product direction to expedite support for my features - A+!

Zscaler's ZIA support is quick and knowledgable. They respond within 1-2 hours of you submitting your ticket. They are very thorough and are typically ready to jump on a live troubleshooting session. Our ZIA platform and how we use is it unique so at times tickets can be open for weeks but we alway get quality support compared to other unrelated product support in our enterprise

GoodAccess specifically addresses our need for a static IP gateway. Other products come with too many features irrelevant to us. We have very specific needs that must be enabled in a very short time frame and GoodAccess was good for us like that, basically, turn key. GoodAccess connection also shows good connectivity speed and that was good enough for us.

The overall user community and scope of supportability outweighed the others on our short list. Netskope was a close second, but the risk, though small, was greater than that of bringing Zscaler aboard. We were looking for a mature, well-supported, highly functional, and fine-grained solution that met all our user and information security requirements.

• Thanks to this solution, we were able to secure access to our cloud resources and stop threats that we received frequently.
• GoodAccess allows us to grant and withdraw access to our resources in a very simple way, in the event that there are changes in personnel in the work teams or contractors.

• The ROI has been immediate especially since we are all working remotely during the COVID-19 situation.

• I would say it has a very good ROI, as whenever someone can't access something, they submit a ticket to our network engineer, and within minutes, the site is safely added to ZIA with best-practice configurations. After seeing a little of the UI from the Zenith event, it seems very user-friendly to control these policies.
